Widening access to quality learning and practical, recognised skills.
Education remains the most reliable pathway to opportunity, yet many capable learners and institutions face barriers of cost, access, outdated teaching methods and limited learning resources. The Education & Skills programme works with universities, colleges, professional bodies and educators to widen access to quality learning and to connect what is taught with the skills individuals, employers and communities need.
The programme draws on the Finstock ecosystem’s experience in online and professional education, but it is open to the wider sector: support is designed to strengthen institutions and educators, not to promote any single provider.
Objectives
- Expand access to quality, affordable learning, including online and blended learning
- Strengthen teaching quality and instructional design in higher education and TVET
- Increase the availability of open, locally relevant learning resources
- Support learners facing financial or access barriers to complete recognised programmes
- Align skills development with labour-market and community needs
