Scholarly books remain an important form of research output, particularly in the humanities and social sciences. This grant concept supports authors and editors through peer review, editing and publication of academic books.

How applications are assessed
Selection criteria will be published with the call.
Applications are screened for eligibility and completeness, reviewed and scored by qualified reviewers who have declared any conflicts of interest, and decided by an authorised committee. Automated tools may help check completeness, but funding decisions are always made by people. Read the grant guidelines.
