Who We Are

Finstock Foundation is a public-benefit organisation established to advance education, research, innovation, skills development, institutional capacity, youth empowerment, employment opportunities and sustainable community development.

How we work

We do not work alone, and we do not see ourselves simply as a distributor of funds. The Foundation acts as a knowledge broker, convener and capacity builder: we identify shared challenges, bring the right people and institutions together, build the skills and systems needed to address them, mobilise resources, and measure and share what works.

We work in collaboration with:

• public benefit organisations (PBOs) and NGOs
• employers
• researchers and research institutions
• development partners
• public institutions
• communities

Part of a wider ecosystem

Finstock Foundation is part of the broader Finstock ecosystem, working with educational, research, professional and institutional partners to advance knowledge, innovation and opportunity. That ecosystem includes experience in online education and professional training, scholarly publishing, recruitment and career development, and education technology. The Foundation draws on this experience while maintaining its own public-benefit mission and identity.

What we support

Our work is organised into seven programme areas — Education & Skills; Research & Knowledge; Digital Transformation; Innovation & Entrepreneurship; Institutional Capacity Development; Youth, Careers & Employment; and Community & Sustainable Development. Support may take the form of financial grants, in-kind support, capacity building, scholarships, fellowships, technical assistance or partnership programmes, depending on the programme and call.
